Liposuction
Liposuction has been one of the most common plastic surgery procedures performed over the past few years in not only Dr. Murphy’s practice but all over the country. Liposuction is very effective in reducing localized fat deposits, those problem areas you just can’t seem to get rid of. In some instances liposuction can be performed alone but it can also be combined with other procedures such as with a tummy tuck or breast surgery.
Ideal candidates for liposuction are adults of any age within 30% of their ideal weight and with firm, elastic skin and good muscle tone. Patients may not see much weight loss with liposuction but will notice a change in shape and size. Clothes tend to fit and feel better after liposuction procedures
